The latest teaser video from Yezdi shows the silhouette of the new Roadking
Yezdi has released the teaser for its upcoming Roadking motorcycle ahead of its official debut that is expected to happen shortly.
While the theme of the teaser video copies that of The Matrix Resurrections (yeah the movie), what is important is the silhouette of the motorcycle shown in it.
The motorcycle that Yezdi has teased looks to be a direct competitor to the Royal Enfield Meteor 350, since it has the traditional cruiser styling.
We’ve spotted this motorcycle recently as well. It had a low seat (compared with traditional roadsters), high-set headlight, handlebar and fuel tank, alloy wheels and twin mufflers.
It is set to be offered in at least 2 variants – 1 with chromed and polished parts, flyscreen and pillion backrest; and the other with blacked components, bar end mirrors and devoid of the backrest and flyscreen.
Since in the phrase “another resurrection coming soon” is mentioned in the Yezdi Roadking teaser video, the world premiere of the motorcycle is not far away.
This cruiser from the brand owned by Classic Legends will be joined by a scrambler and an adventure motorcycle and all of them are likely to be powered by 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor, the same unit that powers the Jawa Perak.
Sporting a 6-speed transmission, each bike from the resurrected bike manufacturer should be capable enough to rival multiple products from segment leader Royal Enfield.
