The recently spotted Roadking ADV will be among 2 bikes Yezdi will launch in India in the near future
The soon-to-be unveiled Yezdi Roadking adventure bike (ADV) has been spotted in production-ready form, recently.
Set to do battle with the Royal Enfield Himalayan in the premium adventure motorcycle segment, the Roadking ADV (this might not be the official name, mind you) will be among 2 motorcycles that will be introduced to mark the re-entry of the Yezdi brand to India.
This recently spotted unit is painted primarily in white, while the fuel tank sports a couple of thick stripes, 1 in black/ dark blue and the other in blue.
A polished fuel cap, the Yezdi logo and ‘Legendary Yezdi’ stickering are also present on the tank that has a crisp design to it.
Featuring a split seat setup, the ADV comes with blacked engine with machined surfaces (to add a bit of contrast). Due to the protective wrap, the complete shape of the side panel and the graphics that may be on it are not discernible.
However, thanks to previous spy shots, it is clear that the motorcycle will have circular lighting units, high- and low-set front mudguards, a flyscreen, fork gaiters up front and single upswept exhaust.
In addition, the ADV will also have jerry can mounts and a luggage carrier, wire-spoked wheels, single disc brake up front and rear, and a digital instrument display.
It is expected that Yezdi will make use of the Jawa Perak’s 334cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, engine good for 30.64 PS and 32.74 torques to power the Roadking ADV. The transmission will be a 6-speed unit.
Many, including us, suspect that the new Yezdi bike could be unveiled on 15th November this year, since Classic Legends had revealed its entire range of new generation Jawas on the same date 3 years ago.
