Yamaha Ray ZR 125, Street Rally 125 Revealed

Yamaha has revealed the Ray ZR 125 along with Street Rally 125.

The new 125cc FI BS6 powered scooter lineup of Yamaha

Yamaha has revealed their new range of BS6 compliant scooters in India. Alongside the Yamaha Fascino 125 FI, the Japanese bike maker has also introduced the Yamaha Ray ZR 125 and Street Rally 125.

The Ray ZR 125 FI is powered by a 125cc, BS6 compliant, air-cooled, fuel injected engine that produces 8.2 PS at 6500 RPM and 9.7 Nm at 5000 RPM. It returns a fuel efficiency of 58 km/l.

Yamaha claims the power output from the outgoing scooter is 30 percent more while the fuel efficiency has gone up by 16 percent. The weight of the scooter is 4 kg lighter than the older scooter.

It also comes with stop and start system that prevents engine idling. The Smart Motor Generator system in the 125cc engine offers quieter engine start. The Ray ZR comes with unified brake system.

The new Ray ZR 125 is offered with side stand cut-off switch. It comes with digital instrument cluster which looks sporty.

The Yamaha Raz ZR 125 is available in 5 colour options – Dark Matte Blue, Metallic Blue, Cyan Blue, Matte Red Metallic and Reddish Yellow Cocktail.

The Street Rally 125 is a more rugged version of the scooter that comes with brush guards, rugged side panels, block-pattern tyres, etc. It is available in two colours – Deep Purplish Blue Metallic and Sparkle Green.
