Yamaha R6 has been showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo, the most performance-oriented middle-weight bike from Yamaha.
Yamaha launched the R15 V3, the most awaited light-weight motorcycle in India and also showcased the middle-weight superbike from it’s stable, the Yamaha R6 which made the Yamaha fans go crazy as much as possible.
The 599cc, inline-4 mill in this middle-weight bike produces a massive 118.4 PS of power at 14,500 RPM and a decent 61.7 Nm of torque at a late 10,500 RPM. The engine is derived from Moto2 and gets the cross-plane technology. This improves delivery of power throughout the rev range without any loss at immediate accelerations. It also redlines at 17,000 RPM which is the maximum it can get on our current generation of bikes.
At 190 kgs and classified as middle-weight the R6 falls in the league of the dream superbikes for a few. Loaded with hardware and power, this is easily one of the most-awaited performance bikes in India.
