The Yamaha R15 V3 has been spied yet again, this time around we have the clearest images of the bike.
Yamaha R15 V3 has been spotted by a MotorBeam reader in Bengaluru. Prior to this, the motorcycle was also spotted doing its city runs in Chennai and is set to be launched soon in the Indian market.
The spy images reveal the blue and black dual-tone colour options on the R15 V3. The alloy wheels get blue rim stripes. The bike is likely to feature a new 155cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled and fuel-injected mill with VVA (Variable Valve Actuation) technology. The powerplant produces 19.3 PS of power and 14.7 Nm of torque and comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
Compared to the international model, the India-spec R15 V3 loses out on up-side down forks and instead gets standard telescopic forks up front. The vehicle is also likely to miss out on ABS and slipper clutch (due to cost concerns). Yamaha will offer ABS only when it is mandatory. Rear suspension duty is carried out by a monoshock and the motorcycle gets disc brakes at both the ends. Other features include LED headlights, LED tail-light, clip-on handlebar and a fully digital instrument cluster.
