New naked bike from Yamaha was spotted recently and could be an India specific 200cc street-fighter.

Yamaha India has earned a lot of appreciation with the launch of its entry-level sports bike, the Yamaha R3. However, the company does not seem to have any intentions to stop here, as many images of the MT-03 and MT-15 for India have been floating around the internet for quite some time now. Surprisingly, two units of an all-new naked bike have been spotted on the roads of Delhi, which neither completely resembles to the MT-15 nor to the MT-03.

Though, the spotted models had carried the design language of both the MT siblings, a few changes could be gazed to identify that it is a new naked for the India market as the test bikes featured no radiator and the MT models are liquid-cooled. Highlighting the cosmetics, the small and sharp headlamps of the spied mule had looks taken from the MT-15 and probably consists of an LED unit. The finely sculpted tank and split out air intakes on either sides provides the required flesh to make it look menacing.

As we can encounter from the images and video, the engine is a single-cylinder uint, suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at the front and the engine belly has been skipped out on the spotted motorcycles. At the rear, the fitment of a tyre hugger with some numerals marked on it makes the bike likely to be made for our country. The instrument cluster must be an all-digital unit which can be guessed by the revealed pictures of MT-15.

Followed by the Yamaha R3 in the entry-level sports motorbike segment, the Japanese manufacturer is likely to enter in the 300cc naked segment in India but recent reports suggest otherwise. To rival it with the high priced Kawasaki Z250, the new naked from Yamaha is needed to be offered with an enticing price tag for the enthusiasts to go for it.
