Yamaha is finally going to launch the MT-15 in India on 15th March 2019.
Yamaha fans have been waiting for the MT-15 since a really long time now and the company is all set to launch the motorcycle in the Indian market on 15th March 2019. The India-spec Yamaha MT-15 shares its mechanicals with the R15 V3.
The test mules of the Yamaha MT-15 have been spotted on a couple of occasions. The bike is likely to get an LED headlight similar to the global model while the USD forks will make way for telescopic forks. It also comes with a box-type swingarm instead of a cast iron unit.
Powering the Yamaha MT-15 will be the same 155cc, single-cyl, VVA-equipped engine and it is likely to be offered in the same tune as the R15 i.e. 19.3 PS and 15 Nm. The bike will come with dual-channel ABS as standard and it will be priced in the range of Rs. 1.20-1.30 lakhs.
