The bikes will be imported as CBU in India, sold through select Blue Square showrooms
Yamaha Motor India has launched the MT-03 and R3 with a price tag of Rs. 4.60 lakhs and Rs. 4.65 lakhs (all prices, ex-showroom). The Japanese bike maker will import both the motorcycles to India via CBU route and these bikes will be sold via select Blue Square showrooms across India.\
Those who are interested can book the bikes exclusively from Yamaha’s official website from 15th December, 2023. The Yamaha R3 is available in Icon Blue & Yamaha Black colour options. The Yamaha MT-03 is available in Midnight Cyan & Midnight Black colour options.
Both the motorcycles share the same engine. It is a 321cc liquid cooled, 4-stroke, in-line two-cylinder, DOHC and 4-valve per cylinder fuel injected engine that produces 42 PS at 10,750 RPM and 29.5 Nm of torque at 9000 RPM.
Some of the highlights include light-weight diamond frame, Upside Down Front Forks, long swingarm and mono-cross rear suspension, multi-function LCD instrument cluster and LED headlight, tail light & turn signal light.
