Yamaha has launched a selection of new colours for their popular bike, the FZ-S. Four new colours have been introduced – the Fearless Black, Glory Gold, Raging Red and Tempest Blue. Yamaha had launched a slight update for the FZ-S last year which gave the bike a few improvements in looks as well as functionality making the already very sporty 150cc bike even more desirable. Now the new colours introduced by Yamaha give the FZ-S an extra edge. The company had launched a limited edition version of the Fazer and FZ-S in November last year.
The Yamaha FZ-S is a variant of the naked FZ series from Yamaha. The FZ-S is powered by a 153cc single-cylinder engine producing 13.8 BHP of power and 13.6 Nm of torque. The styling of the bike is very masculine and has edges and lines that make the machine look extremely sporty. The recent update gave the bike new body graphics, bigger rear fender, kick start, wider and longer rear seat and new rear grab rails. These upgrades made the bike look more modern and more comfortable to ride for both rider and pillion.
The four new colours for the Yamaha FZ-S, Fearless Black, Glory Gold, Raging Red and Tempest Blue, accent the new body graphics design and brings out the macho angles and lines of the bike. The colour coordinated alloy wheel lips, especially on the Fearless Black and Glory Gold, makes the FZ-S look extremely sporty and attention grabbing. The Yamaha FZ-S is priced at Rs. 72,000 (ex-showroom), which is slightly high for a 150cc bike, but the amazing looks and sporty riding characteristics makes up for it.
