Yamaha has recalled F25 and Fazer 25 in India.
Yamaha FZ25 and Fazer 25 have been recalled in India. The Japanese bike maker has issued a voluntary recall to fix the head cover bolt loosening issue in these bikes. While 12,620 units of FZ25 have been recalled, 728 units of the Fazer 25 are recalled.
Total number of 13,348 motorcycles are affected that were manufactured from June 2018. The owners of the affected bikes will be contacted individually. The bikes will get repaired free of cost. Yamaha is working closely with the dealers to ensure all the bikes are repaired.
The Yamaha Fazer 25 and FZ25 are powered by the same 249cc, single-cylinder, oil and air-cooled motor that produces 20.6 HP of power and 20 Nm of torque. Both the bikes were updated recently with dual-channel ABS in January 2019.
