Yamaha Fascino now comes with new Answer Back feature
Yamaha Fascino S variant launched with a price tag of Rs. 93,730/- for the Matte Red & Matte Black colours and Rs. 94,530/- for the Dark Matte Blue colour (all prices, ex-showroom).
The scooter is now equipped with the ‘Answer Back’ feature. This new addition aims to enhance user convenience by enabling owners to locate their scooter from a distance. The feature works by activating both side indicators and the horn for approximately two seconds. To utilise this function, users must install the ‘Yamaha Scooter Answer Back’ application available on Google Playstore and App Store, and press the answer back option on the app.
Despite the new feature, the 2024 Fascino S retains its existing technical specifications. It is powered by a 125cc, air-cooled engine producing 8.04 BHP and 10.3 Nm of torque. The scooter has a fuel tank capacity of 5.2 litres and a kerb weight of 99 kg. It rides on a combination of 12-inch and 10-inch alloy wheels, suspended by telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking duties are handled by a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear, with the most affordable variant featuring drum brakes at both ends.
In addition to the ‘Answer Back’ feature, the new Fascino S continues to offer a range of existing features such as a silent starter and an automatic start-stop function with Normal and Traffic modes.
The 2024 Yamaha Fascino S enters a competitive market segment, facing rivals like the Suzuki Burgman Street 125, Honda Activa 125, TVS Jupiter 125 and Hero Destini 125.
