Xianglong JSX500i Is Proof That The Chinese Really Know How To Full Send

It at least has a different and bigger engine

Before TVS could launch the production version of the Zeppelin concept bike, A Chinese firm has introduced the JSX500i

Remember the TVS Zeppelin Pro Cruiser bike concept which was showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo? Now take a look at the Xianglong JSX500i pictured above. Eerily similar, we know.

The Chinese have been known to copy well-known products for ages now. However, in a very rare move, they decided to produce a knock-off version of a bike that has yet to enter production.

Xiangshuai Heavy Machinery is the culprit which has made the Xianglong JSX500i that looks identical to the Zeppelin concept from TVS.

The cruiser has a ground clearance of only 140 mm

Be it the hexagonal headlamp, mudguard, radiator covers, the shapely fuel tank, single piece stepped seat, side panels or the stubby rear end, the Xianglong JSX500i looks almost identical to the TVS concept machine.

There are a few differences like a slightly different engine cowl, and the bike has alloy wheels instead of wire-spoked ones, while the instrument cluster is dissimilar too.

Powering the bike is a 471cc twin cylinder engine that puts out 44.87 PS and 41 Nm of torque. It comes paired with a 6-speed transmission.

The 150 km/hr top speed is rather low for a 471cc machine

Sporting full LED lighting, the Xianglong JSX500i comes with inverted front forks, adjustable rear monoshock, twin discs upfront and a single disc at the back and an upswept exhaust.

It rides on 120/70-section front tyre and 150/70-section rear rubber wrapped around 17-inch rims and has a claimed top speed of 150 km/hr.
