A big announcement is due from Volkswagen on the 6th of July and we are still guessing what its going to be. Though VW are mum on it, they claim its going to change the Indian automotive scene and now Velocitimag reports that its the VW Vento (sedan version of the Polo) to be launched on this day. VW had recently launched the Vento in the Russian market and it was expected to be launched in India soon.
The Vento will be manufactured at VW’s Chakan plant near Pune and is going to be priced in the 9 – 10 lakh range. We expect the Vento to set new benchmarks in quality and take the market by storm. The Vento will compete with the Fiat Linea and the Honda City to name a few. Keep watching for more.
