The asking price of the Volvo XC90 mild-hybrid has been announced about a month after the S90 and XC60 mild-hybrids were launched
Volvo Car India has today launched the XC90 mild-hybrid petrol with a price tag of Rs. 89.90 lakhs (ex-showroom).
Available in colour choices such as Crystal White Pearl, Denim Blue, Onyx Black and Pine Grey, the luxury SUV comes with a completely new petrol mild-hybrid powertrain.
Offered in a single B6 Inscription variant, the XC90 petrol mild-hybrid comes with features such as a 12-inch driver display, head-up display, panoramic sunroof, crystal gear selector, 4-zone climate control system and 360-degree camera.
Some of the other features the Volvo XC90 mild-hybrid price tag gets a customer include heated and massaging front seats, air quality system with PM 2.5 sensor, 19-speaker (1400 W) Bowers & Wilkins sound system, handsfree powered tailgate, smartphone integration, voice control and wireless phone charger.
Powering the car is a 1969cc petrol motor assisted by a mild-hybrid system. In total, the power unit puts out 300 HP and 420 Nm of torque. The motor’s power is sent to all 4 wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Equipped with air suspension, the SUV, which rides on 20-inch wheels, also features LED headlights, puddle lights, TPMS, park assist pilot and plentiful safety tech including multiple airbags, hill descent control, adaptive cruise control, pilot assist, lane keeping aid, collision mitigation support, among others.
Customers have the option to buy a 3-year service pack for Rs. 75,000/- (plus applicable taxes) while purchasing the car. It covers regular maintenance, plus wear and tear cost for 3 years.
