Volvo XC40 gets the highest possible rating of 5-stars in the toughest ever Euro NCAP test.

Volvo cars pride themselves on being among the safest on the road. The company ensures that their cars come loaded with the latest and the most reliable safety tech present in the market. Their ‘European Car Of The Year 2018’ has kept the flag flying with its latest performance in the Euro NCAP test wherein it got a 5-star rating, the best any car can get.
The Volvo XC40 scored 97% for adult occupant protection which puts it amongst the top five cars for this aspect of safety tested by Euro NCAP in the last three years. It comes with lane-keeping assist, blind spot warning, adaptive cruise control, pilot assist, emergency braking and some more. Other safety kit like ESP, traction control, hill descent control and multiple airbags are included too. The list just goes on.
The car is on sale in India and comes in three variants, the base trim Momentum, the middle trim R-Design and the top-spec Inscription trim. Though these cars differ in interiors and exteriors, there is no compromise in the safety list proving that safety is paramount to Volvo cars.
