Volkswagen Virtus and Taigun get updated with mild changes
Volkswagen India has updated the Virtus sedan and Taigun compact SUV. Auto Headlights and Auto Coming Home and Leaving Home lights are now available on the Highline variants of the 1.0 TSI Dynamic Line and GT variant of the 1.5 TSI Performance Line of the Volkswagen Taigun.
The Volkswagen Virtus now comes with rear fog lamps as standard across all its variants to enhance the visibility of the vehicle on the road.
Apart from these new changes, both the cars are now RDE and E20 norms compliant. With the rising input costs, the German carmaker has also announced price hike of 2 percent across the lineup. The updated price will come into effect from 1st April 2023.
Now that Honda has updated the City with a facelift adding new features and Hyundai has recently launched the new generation Verna with many segment leading features, Volkswagen and Skoda will feat some heat in the C-segment sedan space.
The German carmaker should consider introducing a facelift in the near future with new features including ADAS which is now offered in both City and Verna. What would you prefer to buy in the sedan space right now? Let us know in the comments.
