Volkswagen Taigun GT Plus Sport, GT Line, Virtus GT Plus Sport & ID.4 revealed
Volkswagen India has revealed a bunch of products today including Taigun GT Plus Sport, Taigun GT Line, Virtus GT Plus Sport and ID.4 electric crossover. While the Taigun and Virtus get mild cosmetic tweaks, the ID.4 will be the German carmaker’s first EV for the Indian market.
The Volkswagen Taigun will now be offered in three trim plans – GT Edge, Chrome and Sport. Under the new line structure, Volkswagen unveiled two new variants, Taigun GT Plus Sport and Taigun GT Line.
Volkswagen Taigun GT Plus Sport bookings commence from today. It comes with cosmetic tweaks including Carbon Steel coloured roof, Black coloured roof rails, Glossy black B and C-pillar garnish, Black coloured ORVMs, Black coloured window bar/DLO (Day Light Opening), Dark chrome outside door handle garnish, GT Logo in red colour, Black LED headlamps, 17” Cassino black alloy wheels, Black coloured front lamellas, Black design strip, Red front brake callipers, Dark underbody spoiler/diffuser, Red coloured GT fender badge, Black coloured ‘TAIGUN’, letters on boot lid, Red coloured GT badge on boot lid, Black coloured rear design strip and Dark rear underbody spoiler/diffuser.
Interior enhancements include Black coloured headliner, Glossy black dashboard décor, Red ambient lights, Dark coloured lower interior, Red coloured stitching on the steering wheel, Aluminium pedals, Red coloured stitching on the front centre armrest, Black leatherette seat covers, Red coloured stitching on the seat covers, Black grab-handles, Black sunvisor, Black garnish on A,B and C-Pillars, Black roof lamp housing and Black sunvisor holder.
Volkswagen Taigun GT Line changes include GT Line badge – fender & rear, Black coloured roof rails, Matte Black finish B-pillar, Matte Black finish C-pillar, Black coloured ORVMs, Black coloured window bar/DLO (Day Light Opening), Dark chrome outside door

The Volkswagen Virtus GT Plus Sport will be available later this year, currently it is in its concept form. The ID.4 will be the first electric vehicle from Volkswagen in India. The German carmaker has not revealed the specs yet. More details will be revealed closer to the launch, which is expected to happen around the festive season.
