Volkswagen has revealed the Tiguan AllSpace 7-seater SUV at the Auto Expo.
The German carmaker is on a roll at the ongoing 2020 Auto Expo as they have showcased a wide range of cars including new concepts, updated models and a fresh lineup for the Indian market.
One of the new products is the Tiguan AllSpace 7-seater SUV, which is essentially and extended version of the regular Tiguan which is already on sale in India. The additional 3rd-row seats make it a more practical offering in the country.
The Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace will replace the regular Tiguan in India and compete head on with the Skoda Kodiaq, Ford Endeavour and Toyota Fortuner in the country.
The AllSpace is 226 mm longer than the regular version but the width and height is exactly the same. There are some styling changes in the R-Line trim which comes with sporty bumpers and new alloy wheels. The regular trim looks more or less the same.
There is a new 2.0-litre TSI turbo petrol engine with BS6 compliance and no diesel on offer currently. The German carmaker will introduce the Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace in the Indian market very soon.
