Volkswagen has launched the 7-seater Tiguan Allspace in India.
Making its India debut at the Auto Expo 2020, the Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace has finally been launched in the market with a price tag of Rs. 33.12 lakhs (ex-showroom, introductory). It is being imported in India via CBU route.
In terms of styling, the Tiguan Allspace looks exactly like the regular Tiguan, except for the longer size on the Allspace. It is a longer, 7-seater version of the Tiguan.
Powering the Tiguan Allspace is a BS6 compliant 2.0-litre TSI turbocharged petrol engine producing 190 HP at 4200 RPM and 320 Nm at 1500-4100 RPM, mated to a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. It gets 4MOTION all-wheel drive system with different modes to tackle the rough terrain.
The VW Tiguan Allspace comes with features such as panoramic sunroof, all-LED headlights with DRLs, Active Info Display with all-digital instrument cluster, Vienna leather seats, reverse parking camera, 3-zone automatic climate control system, park assist, ambient lighting, etc.
In terms of safety, the Tiguan Allspace comes with 7 airbags including knee airbags. It also comes with ABS, hill descent control and Electronic Stability Control (ESC) as standard along with tyre pressure monitoring system.
It is available in orange, white, blue, black, grey, red and silver. It comes with 340 litres of boot space that can be extended up to 1274 litres.
