Volkswagen has started accepting bookings for the T-Roc and Tiguan Allspace in India.
Volkswagen showcased the T-Roc in India at the 2020 Auto Expo and the SUV is going to be launched in the Indian market in the next few days. The SUV has now been listed on Volkswagen India’s website and dealers have started accepting bookings for the same.
The Volkswagen T-Roc is a spectacular looking car. It also gets a generous equipment list with features like LED headlamps and tail lamps, front and rear parking sensors, digital instrument cluster, dual-zone auto AC, 8-inch touchscreen, panoramic sunroof, etc.
Under the hood, the Volkswagen T-Roc gets a 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine with a 7-speed DSG. The engine churns out 150 PS and 250 Nm. The SUV gets six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, Hill Start Assist, TPMS and a reverse camera. The vehicle will be brought down via the CBU route for now and dealers are accepting bookings for a sum of Rs. 25,000/-.
Along with the T-Roc, Volkswagen will also launch the Tiguan Allspace in India in the near future. Dealers have started taking bookings for this SUV as well. The Tiguan Allpsace is a longer version of the standard Tiguan and it comes with an extended wheelbase. It is longer by 226 mm while the width and height are similar.
The India-spec Allspace will come in a 7-seater configuration. The Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace is powered by a 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine producing around 190 PS and 350 Nm. The Tiguan Allspace will rival the likes of the Skoda Kodiaq.
