Volkswagen Virtus & Taigun Sound Edition launched, price revealed
Volkswagen Sound Edition for Virtus and Taigun launched, priced from Rs. 15.51 lakhs (ex-showroom). The special edition comes with new features, based on the 1.0L TSI Topline variants of Virtus and Taigun.
The special edition cars come with a sub-woofer, amplifier and “enhanced audio experience with a specially-tuned audio system”. Apart from the updated audio system, the special editions also get electric front seats, puddle lamps, footwell illumination and Sound branding on the front speakers as well as stickers on the C-pillar.
The Sound Edition is available in four colour options for both Virtus and Taigun – Lava Blue, Carbon Steel Grey, Wild Cherry Red and Rising Blue. Dual tone colour scheme with a white roof and white ORVM caps is available exclusively on Volkswagen Taigun Sound Edition.
There are no other changes in the cars. Both the Sound Edition models are powered by the same 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine that produces 113.42 HP and 178 Nm of torque. It is available with the option of both 6-speed automatic and 6-speed manual transmission.
