The asking price of the Volkswagen Polo Matt Edition is the same as the GT variant of the hatchback
Volkswagen has launched the Polo Matt Edition in India with a price tag of Rs. 9.99 lakhs and the Vento Matt Edition with a starting price of Rs. 11.94 lakhs (ex-showroom).
The Polo Matt Edition is based on the GT variant of the premium hatchback, while the C-segment sedan’s Matt Edition is offered in both Highline AT and Highline Plus AT grades.
These limited edition models feature a Carbon Steel Grey colourway in matt finish. Their ORVM caps and door handles come in gloss Black, while the wheels are silver coloured.
Powering the cars is a 1.0-litre TSI motor good for 110 PS and 175 Nm of torque. Both Matt Edition models come with a 6-speed automatic gearbox only.
The German car brand has stated that the Matt Edition models will come with a standard ‘4Ever Care’ package which includes 4-year warranty, 4-year road-side assistance and 3-free services.

Note that the Polo Matt Edition is priced the same as the Polo GT variant, but the Vento Matt Edition costs less than the ex-showroom price of the regular Highline AT and Highline Plus AT, but Rs. 15,000/- more than the offer price of the month for those models.
