Car manufacturers are trying to reap in maximum sales in the festive season this year. Following the footprints of Fiat, German manufacturer Volkswagen is also trying its luck by offering a special discount on its top selling cars Vento and Polo. Volkswagen has launched a sales campaign in which it offers a special discount of Rs. 55,000/- on its hatchback Polo and a discount of Rs. 70,000/- on its sedan Vento for all bookings prior to 25th September. Volkswagen is also offering a special corporate discount to pick up good numbers from its corporate clients and is offering an attractive interest rate of 5.99 percent to lure the customers.
Volkswagen also launched the updated models of Polo and Vento earlier this month with some cosmetic changes and added features at a lower price to increase market share. Volkswagen Vento Highline diesel is currently priced at Rs. 9.89 lakhs and Volkswagen Polo Highline diesel is priced at Rs. 6.94 lakhs (all prices ex-showroom, New Delhi). The updated Polo comes with a new audio system, Bluetooth device, speed sensing volume control and some other minor cosmetic changes whereas the updated Vento comes with navigation system with rear view camera, Bluetooth, four speakers and minute cosmetic changes.
The Volkswagen Polo is powered by a 1.2-litre engine in both petrol and diesel variants while the Volkswagen Vento comes with a 1.6-litre engine in petrol and diesel engine options. The two models have helped Volkswagen to have its grip over Indian market, Vento has offered a tough competition to other brands in its segment. One thing is sure that the coming festive season will be benefiting the consumers most, so all the prospective buyers get ready for the shopping hunt and get the best deals on your prospective cars.
