Voge, the subsidiary brand of Loncin Motorcycle, has launched the ER10 electric motorcycle in Italy.
The naked bike comes equipped with a 3.7 kWh battery pack, 8.9 kW (12 HP) electric motor making 12.3 Nm of torque and has a claimed range of 120 km on a single charge.
Top speed of the Voge ER10 is only 90 km/hr, but, the motorcycle is rather light, at 122 kg, thanks to its aluminium frame. The battery pack alone weighs 30 kg.
It also has decent componentry like 37 mm telescopic forks upfront, a monoshock with adjustable preload at the back, 280 mm front disc, 220 mm rear disc, while dual channel ABS assist is also offered.
Although it is not a fast bike with only limited power, riding around town should be a hoot thanks to its low weight and the 110/70-section front and 140/60-section rear tyres that are wrapped around 17-inch alloy rims.
Available only in Sparkling Black colourway, the Voge ER10 has been designed to carry only the rider. It sports neat styling, but cannot be termed special.
However, the stacked LED headlight, small flyscreen, semi-fairing with integrated front indicators and yellow highlights, short seat and sharp tail section all work well to get rid of the “commuter” tag associated with motorcycles that have less power.
In terms of features, the electric naked bike comes with an LCD instrument cluster, keyless go, “Find Vehicle” function, a storage compartment (in the form of the faux tank) and 2 USB sockets.
Customers in Italy would have to shell out €6590 (Rs. 5.87 lakhs) in order to get their hands on a Voge ER10 at present.
