Yamaha’s upcoming scooter caught testing in India, could replace the Alpha.
Looks like Yamaha is readying yet another scooter for the Indian market. Apart from the Fazer 250 that has been spied testing various times, this scooter from Yamaha resembles the Nozza Grande and has also been spied in Chennai recently.
According to the source, the test mule has a clear looking Yamaha logo on the pillion grab rail as well as near the tail-light. A closer look at the rear of the scooter reveals that Yamaha has taken design cues from the Fascino. Rumours are that this could be another 110cc scooter from Yamaha, set to rival the Honda Activa and TVS Jupiter.
This upcoming scooter could replace the Yamaha Alpha, the only scooter in the portfolio that hasn’t done well when compared to the Ray and Fascino. Forget this scooter, where is the R15 V3, we want that first Yamaha!
