Tata Blackbird
Tata also had plans to re-enter the C-segment sedan market with a premium sedan based on the Altroz. However, the brand has shelved the plans of doing so for the time being. Tata has now planned to introduce another SUV that will bridge the gap between the Harrier and the Nexon. It will be based on the same platform as the Altroz and the H2X and will feature Tata’s Impact 2.0 design philosophy.
Currently, this car is in its development phase and might be revealed in its concept form at the 2020 Auto Expo. The Blackbird SUV will most likely be powered by Nexon’s engine options. Moreover, it will be priced lower than the Harrier and slightly higher than the Nexon. It will be pretty spacious and will be about 4.2 metres long with five seats. The Tata Blackbird will be priced in the range of Rs. 9.5-13.5 lakhs (ex-showroom).
