The instrument cluster of the upcoming Royal Enfield Hunter has been spied and this particular pre-production bike does not sport the Tripper navigation system.
Placed at an offset to the rider’s direct line of view, the instrument pod consists of an analogue dial and a small digital display, both sporting a chrome bezel.
The speedometer, which reads in both km/hr and mph, is analogue, while the digital display below would show other details like fuel level, trip meter, clock, and more.
While the Royal Enfield Hunter instrument cluster spied on this mule does not sport the Tripper navigation pod, we have spotted the system on the Hunter earlier (read article here).
Thus, expect the firm to offer its new smartphone-enabled navigation system on its new 350cc roadster when it goes on sale.
Other details that can be noted on the heavily-camouflaged test mule include a chrome headlamp casing, chrome indicator casings, telescopic forks upfront, dual shocks at the rear, alloy wheels and disc brakes front and rear.
There are accessories like the engine guard on board the motorcycle that has a single-piece seat, LED tail light, and mechanical parts finished in black.
Powering the motorcycle is the same 349cc air-cooled engine putting out 20.2 HP and 27 Nm that does duty on the Meteor 350. It will come mated to a 5-speed gearbox as standard.
Expect the motorcycle to be launched pretty soon and take on the Honda H’ness CB350 in the ever-growing premium commuter segment.
