An upcoming Royal Enfield bike that looks like the Interceptor 650 has been spotted on test on public roads.
The spy shot taken from behind shows us a motorcycle that has the design of the 650cc classic-looking motorcycle, but it only sports a single exhaust outlet, indicating that it has a single-cylinder heart.
Back in October, we reported that the bikemaker would not proceed with its 250cc motorcycle that was called Project V.
It was expected to become the most affordable variant of the brand with a price tag of around Rs. 1.4 lakhs (ex-showroom) and was supposed to be called either the Hunter or Sherpa.
With Honda riding in the H’ness CB350 to the market, this recently spotted upcoming Royal Enfield bike might be under development to take on the Japanese product.
At the moment, no more details are known, but this could well be called Interceptor 350 or Royal Enfield could use the Hunter or Sherpa name on the model.
