Upcoming RE Twin Cylinder Bike Spotted In 2 Avatars

The upcoming RE twin cylinder bike has been spotted in a completely new Bonneville-like Retro Classic avatar in addition to the Cafe Racer version.

The Cafe Racer version of the Royal Enfield twin-cylinder bike might not be launched in India

Like a movie that takes unexpected twists and turns in its plot (story), the upcoming RE twin-cylinder bike has been spotted and this time also in a completely new Bonneville-like Retro Classic like (Street) avatar in addition to the Cafe Racer variant that had been spotted various times.

No one could see this coming as Royal Enfield had kept every news on this twin-cylinder bike utmost confidential. Royal Enfield had revealed that with this new twin-cylinder bike it intends to be the global middle-weight motorcycle leader and bringing it in this Bonneville-like Retro Classic like avatar makes us feel, the Bullet maker is just that close to becoming one. And why do we say this?

A twin-cylinder motorcycle with an expected power output of 45-50 HP that rides and feels like a Triumph Bonneville but most importantly that costs one-third of a Triumph Bonneville, don’t you think this is indeed a recipe for success? With ABS, Pirelli Tyres, what more could a highway cruiser ask for? I’m not a hardcore RE fan, but I’m super excited and can’t wait to get my hands at riding one.

The two variants (Cafe Racer and Street) look quite different to each other, while the Cafe Racer gets a chiselled tank, rear set foot pegs and a cafe racer styled single seat, the Street gets a raised handlebar, forward set foot pegs, Bonneville-like fuel tank and a flat seat.

Will Royal Enfield bring both the variants to India? Well, the existing Continental GT 535 hasn’t been a good volume seller for the brand, so we feel the Cafe Racer version might not make it to India but the Street version definitely will as it goes up against the Harley-Davidson Street 750.
