Force Motors’ upcoming UV has been spotted testing in Pune, could possibly be a new-generation model of the Trax series.
Force Motors’ upcoming UV (Utility Vehicle) has been spotted undergoing testing around the Force Motors plant in Chinchwad, Pune. The test mule is heavily camouflaged and its overall structure is reminiscent of the Force Trax Cruiser and Toofan. The test mule also revealed only the steel wheels and tail lights.
The spotted test mule could probably be a new generation model of the Trax series. In Force Motors’ current portfolio, the company sells as many as 7 versions of the Trax including the Trax Gama, Trax Cruiser, Trax Toofan, Trax Ambulance, Trax Cruiser Deluxe, Trax Toofan Deluxe and Trax Cruiser School Van.
While the Trax Gama is powered by a 2.6-litre diesel engine producing 60 HP and 158 Nm of torque, the Trax Cruiser, Trax Toofan, Trax Ambulance and the Trax Cruiser School Van are powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine producing 67 HP and 175 Nm of torque. The Trax Cruiser Deluxe and Toofan Deluxe are powered by a 2.6-litre diesel engine producing 84 HP and 230 Nm of torque.
