The new Pulsar 200 SS was likely spotted at an event outside India with the international launch expected in a few weeks.
If there is one thing that Pulsar enthusiasts are never tired off are the unaccountable Pulsar 200 SS spy shots that have surfaced on to the internet from in and out of the country. Bajaj made sure to leave no stone unturned with the 200 SS that has been tested across the extreme geographical diversities of our country, and continues to do so in other parts of the globe as well. Bajaj’s new truly global sports bike, the Pulsar 200 SS has already been showcased to dealers in Turkey and now new shots have emerged online showing the bike wrapped up in blue livery.
Certainly a stunner in the dual-tone paint scheme, the Bajaj Pulsar 200 SS snapped carries a saree guard that could make it an India spec model. However, with Indian dealerships suggesting of no communication from Bajaj yet on the bike, it can be believed that the image has surfaced from overseas most possibly from Turkey itself. Sharing most of its underpinnings with the 200 NS, the new Pulsar 200 SS uses the same 199.5cc single-cylinder engine producing 24.4 PS of power, paired to a 6-speed gearbox.
The 2015 Pulsar 200 SS comes with an aerodynamic full fairing complete with dual projector lights, LED eyebrows and L-shaped LED tail lights. Expected to hit the market by March 2015, the 200 SS will be positioned below the KTM RC 200 and will carry a price tag of around Rs. 1.35 lakhs (on-road), making it yet another affordable and value for money offering from the company. In addition to the 200 SS, Bajaj will bring in a host of new Pulsars including the 160 NS, 400 SS and the 400 CS by the end of this fiscal year.
