UM Motorcycles has chalked out a formidable road-map for its journey in India for the next few months.
UM Motorcycles is a relatively new automaker in India who is yet to make a name for itself in the small capacity biking segment. The company currently retails two bikes in the country namely the Renegade Commando and the Renegade Sport S. Now, UM Motorcycles has decided to launch some more bikes in India in the next few months.
In the second half of 2017, UM Motorcycles will reportedly launch three bikes, called the Renegade Classic, Renegade Mojave and street version of the Sport S. The Renegade Mojave was spotted recently and it was sporting a matte brown paint-job and had a saddle bag. The bike has all the vibes of a stylish-long distance cruiser. The Mojave name itself represents the outdoorsy nature of the bike. Based on the UM Renegade Commando, the bike uses the same 279.5cc single-cylinder engine which should be made BS-IV compliant upon its launch. Currently, it churns out 25 HP of peak power and 21.8 Nm of torque.
The other two products in the pipeline are the Renegade Classic and the street version of the Sport S cruiser bike. Set to be the flagship model in the company’s Indian portfolio, the Renegade Classic is a laid back cruiser, designed to resemble old-school American cruisers. The company is also busy opening new dealerships and reaching out to new customers in tier-2 and tier-3 cities.
