Ultraviolette F99 is an Indian electric superbike aiming to break records!
Ultraviolette Automotive has revealed its latest electric superbike, the F99 Factory Racing Platform, in India. Positioned above the company’s F77 Mach 2, the F99 brings a host of upgrades, most notably a larger motor and significantly higher top speed. The Bengaluru-based manufacturer aims for the F99 to break records, including the fastest quarter-mile time and the highest top speed for an Indian motorcycle.
The F99 showcases a fully-faired, futuristic design with sharp body panels, enhanced by active aerodynamics and cooling ducts to channel air effectively toward the motor. Its bold aesthetic is further accentuated by a red-and-white colour scheme, which contributes to the bike’s striking appearance.
At the heart of the F99 is a powerful 90kW motor, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hr in just three seconds. Weighing in at 178 kg, the bike boasts an impressive top speed of 265 km/hr, positioning it among the fastest electric motorcycles on the market.
In addition to its performance, the F99 is equipped with premium components. These include an Ohlins suspension system for improved handling, Brembo brakes featuring a twin-disc setup at the front for enhanced stopping power and lightweight alloy wheels fitted with slick tyres for optimized grip.
Ultraviolette’s ambitious goal with the F99 is to set new benchmarks in speed and performance for electric motorcycles in India. While the company has not yet revealed the price or launch timeline for the F99, its specifications and design suggest it will be aimed at high-end performance enthusiasts and racing applications.
The F99 is another step in Ultraviolette’s ongoing efforts to revolutionise the electric motorcycle market, pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved with electric mobility on two wheels.
