Ultraviolette F77 all-electric bike revealed, it is available in three variants.
Ultraviolette Automotive, which is backed by TVS Motor, has revealed its first product – Ultraviolette F77. The all-electric bike will be priced between Rs. 3-3.25 lakhs (on-road). The registrations are open on their official website while the deliveries will commence by the end of 2020.
The Ultraviolette F77 is available in three variants – F77 Lightning, F77 Shadow and F77 Laser. It is powered by an air-cooled electric motor that produces 25kW 33.5 HP at 2250 RPM with a peak torque of 90 Nm.
The 0-100 km/hr acceleration timing is claimed to be 7.2 seconds while 0-60 km/hr takes 2.9 seconds. The bike has a top speed of 147 km/hr. With 3 battery packs, the range of the bike on single charge is claimed to be 130-150 km.
The bike has a wheelbase of 1340 mm, seat height of 800 mm and a kerb weight of 158 kgs. Standard charger takes 5 hours charging time while fast charger takes 1.5 hrs. It has three riding modes – Eco, Sport and Insane.
The electric motorcycle is based on Steel trellis with aluminium bulk head frame. It gets inverted cartridge type forks at the front and 12 mm piston with adjustable preload spring at the rear.
Braking duty is handled by 320 mm front disc and 230 mm rear disc. It comes with dual-channel ABS as standard. Front tyre is a 110/70 R17 while the rear is 150/60 R17.
The Ultraviolette F77 is loaded with features including LCD display with smartphone connectivity. It is integrated with eSIM, NFC and Bluetooth connection. GPS/GLONASS positioning for real-time velocity and position discovery for Ride History, Vehicle Locator and Geofencing.
Shock and impact sensors are there for fall and crash detection. The F77 also comes with park assist reverse throttle. Available in three colour options – Stealth grey, Lightning silver, Crimson.
Ultraviolette will be offering accessories like wheel caps, crash guards, panniers, visor, standard charger, home charging pod, portable fast charger, dashboard theme, etc.
