Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 gets more features, better range & lower price tag
Ultraviolette, the Bengaluru-based electric vehicle startup, has unveiled its latest offering, the F77 Mach 2, marking an evolution from its initial F77 model launched back in 2022. Positioned as a significant update, the Mach 2 brings forth enhancements in range, features and affordability. With a starting price of Rs. 2.99 lakhs for the F77 Mach 2 and Rs. 3.99 lakhs (all prices ex-showroom and introductory) for the F77 Mach 2 Recon, Ultraviolette aims to make electric motorcycles more accessible to a broader audience
One of the notable improvements in the F77 Mach 2 is its extended range. With an IDC range of 211 km for the F77 Mach 2 and an impressive 323 km for the F77 Mach 2 Recon variant, Ultraviolette aims to address the concerns regarding range anxiety among potential buyers.
The introduction of the ‘Performance Pack’ adds a layer of sophistication to the F77 Mach 2, enhancing its safety and usability. Features like optimised ABS with a front-only mode, traction control with multiple levels, hill-hold assist and TPMS contribute to a more secure riding experience. Furthermore, the inclusion of a charge limit setting, ‘find my F77’ feature, and on-board navigation adds convenience and utility to the package.
While these features come bundled with the introductory price for the first 1000 customers, they will become optional add-ons afterward. It’s noteworthy that some features will be standard on the F77 Mach 2 Recon variant but remain optional on the standard F77 Mach 2 model. The EV maker plans to expand its dealership network with 18 to 20 new locations across India. Bookings for both variants of the F77 Mach 2 will open across 15 cities.
