Ultraviolette Automotive has recently announced an industry-leading battery and drivetrain warranty program for its flagship product, the F77. The electric bike maker sets a new benchmark by offering an unprecedented warranty coverage spanning up to 8,00,000 km.
The new warranty structure introduced by Ultraviolette encompasses three distinct packages – UV Care, UV Care+ and UV Care Max, each offering varying levels of km limits. Notably, the km coverage on UV Care and UV Care+ has been doubled under the updated warranty structure, while UV Care Max now provides an astounding eight times more km coverage.
The decision to extend such extensive warranty coverage comes on the heels of testing results, wherein an F77 test motorcycle completed a staggering 1,00,000 km while retaining over 95 percent of its original rated capacity. Further validation of the motorcycle’s performance was demonstrated during recent testing at ARAI, where it showcased an IDC range of 304 km on a single charge.
Niraj Rajmohan, CTO & Co-Founder of Ultraviolette, emphasised the brand’s dedication to revolutionising the electric mobility landscape through advancements in battery technology. He highlighted the rigorous efforts invested in battery engineering, including comprehensive validation processes spanning five levels of safety, to ensure the longevity and reliability of their electric motorcycles.
CEO & Co-Founder of Ultraviolette, Narayan Subramaniam, echoed Rajmohan’s sentiments, emphasising the company’s ethos of pushing the boundaries of innovation. Subramaniam emphasised Ultraviolette’s seven-year journey in advancing battery technology and standards, culminating in the introduction of the extended warranty program. He emphasised that the extensive coverage of 8,00,000 km aims to exceed customer expectations and establish a new benchmark in EV ownership and experience.
