Uber offers UberGO, UberX and UberBlack in Mumbai and now the cab provider company has introduced a new service called UberSUV which guarantees bigger vehicles.
Uber made its way to India last year and the cab company gained immense popularity thanks to its easy system where a user would just need to click a button and an Uber cab would come by to pick him up. The company also offers cashless transactions wherein earlier your entire fare amount would be directly deducted through your credit card details that were used while registering with Uber cabs for the first time. While the credit card payment system is now history, Uber makes use of PayTM Wallet for payments and this might come across as a far more better option to users. The company is expanding its service range rapidly and now Uber cabs has launched UberSUV in Mumbai.
Uber offers UberGO, UberX and UberBlack in Mumbai already. UberGO is the cheapest service that offers hatchbacks like Toyota Etios Liva and Maruti Ritz. UberX is a low cost service where users would usually get compact sedans like the Maruti DZire and Toyota Etios for services. UberBlack makes use of larger vehicles like the Toyota Innova and Nissan Sunny to cater to users. However, there have been times when there would be more passengers to be fitted in a car and not every time would an MPV like the Innova be sent. To counter this problem, Uber has now introduced UberSUV which guarantees users that they will receive either a Toyota Innova or a Tata Aria if they select the SUV option. This will cater to those who need to ferry around 6 people.
The pricing for UberSUV is exactly the same as UberBlack. The base fare is Rs. 100/- plus Rs. 2/- per minute plus Rs. 17/- per km and the cancellation fee is Rs. 200/-. The Innova and Aria will remain accessible even if you choose the UberBlack option but their services will be 100 percent guaranteed if you choose the SUV option. This comes across as a good alternative to other cab providers. The pricing is pretty much decent and if the fare gets split among the six passengers, then this could turn out to be a very cheap option for travelling. Uber is currently offering a discount of 25 percent on its services.
