TVS has updated the XL 100 with new BS6 engine.
The TVS XL 100 is one of the highest selling two-wheelers in the country. The small capacity two-wheeler has now been updated with a BS6 compliant engine and it is the most affordable FI two-wheeler available in the country right now.
The 2020 TVS XL 100 comes with a starting price of Rs. 42,362/- (ex-showroom) for the XL 100 Heavy Duty i-Touchstart. The entry-level variants price will be announced soon.
Powering the updated XL 100 is a 99.7cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, fuel injected BS6 engine that produces 4.4 PS at 6000 RPM and 6.5 Nm at 3500 RPM. This engine is mated to a single speed gearbox.
The Indian bike maker promises smoother engine performance, better throttle response and 15 percent more fuel efficiency compared to the BS4 model.
The bike was recently updated with a new Comfort i-TOUCHstart feature which gets engine kill and start switch for better convenience.
