Victor is the new TVS 2-wheeler to be updated with CBS after the Apache series that got equipped with ABS earlier.
TVS Motor has introduced Synchronized Braking Technology (SBT) in its commuter motorcycle, the TVS Victor with a price tag starting from Rs. 54,682/- (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The motorcycle, while promising a comfortable ride with its long seat being complemented by dual spring series suspension ensures safety with the introduction of the SBT. This ensures that the front brake is automatically engaged whenever the rear brake is applied or vice versa. Another advantage is that it reduces the braking distance and improves stability while braking.
TVS SBT further enhances the braking performance of the vehicle, by reducing braking distance up to 10 percent, with respect to comparable braking systems, as per the bike maker.
Apart from the addition of SBT, no other mechanical changes are made. This means that the Victor continues to draw power from a 110cc 3-valve oil cooled engine that produces 9.37 BHP at 7500 RPM and 9.4 Nm of torque at 6000 RPM. The engine is paired with a 4-speed gearbox that sends power to the rear wheel via a chain drive setup. TVS Motors currently offers the Victor in four different colour options – Black Gold, Red Gold, Matte Blue and Matte Silver.
The TVS Victor 110 with Synchronized Braking Technology will give a good competition to other motorcycles like the Hero Passion Xpro and the aggressive looking Honda Livo.
