TVS To Launch New 300cc Adventure Bike In Mid 2025

New adventure bike likely to share mechanicals from Apache RR & RTR 310

TVS Motor Company is gearing up for the launch of a new 300cc adventure motorcycle in mid-2025, aiming to expand its portfolio into the adventure bike segment. Spotted testing recently, this new model signals TVS’s continued efforts to innovate within the adventure category, offering an option that could appeal to both off-road enthusiasts and daily riders.

Despite its recent collaboration with BMW on other projects, TVS’s 300cc adventure bike is a distinct product unrelated to BMW’s recently showcased F 450 GS at EICMA. Designed and developed solely by TVS, this upcoming model is expected to feature a brand-new engine. Though specifics about the engine are yet to be disclosed, it is anticipated that the new motor may share technological learnings from TVS’s Apache RR 310 and RTR 310 models. This engine is also expected to be paired with a six-speed gearbox.

In terms of design, the TVS 300cc Adventure bike is likely to showcase rugged, adventure-focused styling, with muscular body panels providing a robust and visually striking aesthetic. The bike is expected to be equipped with both front and rear disc brakes and mounted on wire-spoke wheels with tubed tires, ensuring durability for off-road adventures. TVS could offer a 21-inch front wheel as standard and potentially a 19-inch option, giving riders flexibility for both off-road and on-road conditions.

The suspension setup will reportedly include USD (upside-down) front forks and a rear monoshock, both of which are expected to feature adjustable springs, continuing TVS’s commitment to adaptable and high-performance components, as seen in the RTR 310 and RR 310 models. As is typical of TVS, the 300cc Adventure bike will likely come with a suite of advanced electronics, including LED lighting, multiple ride modes, and a fully digital instrument console.

Currently, the bike appears to be in the final stages of development, with ongoing testing likely to refine its performance and features. An official announcement from TVS is expected around mid-2025, following the completion of these trials. Once launched, the 300cc Adventure bike will aim to bridge the gap between models like the Hero Xpulse 200 4V and Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, providing an alternative for riders seeking both versatility and premium features.

This upcoming model is projected to become the flagship in the TVS lineup, representing the brand’s most premium offering.
