TVS Teases Apache 200 In Indonesia, Launch On 20th January

TVS will be launching a 200cc version of the popular Apache and the new product will be launched on 20th January in both India and Indonesia.

The TVS Apache 200 will be offered in the Indonesian market too

TVS is going to launch the Apache 200 and we had caught the production version of the bike undergoing testing just a few days back. The bike was running under heavy camouflage but we did manage to sneak out quite a few details of the bike including its patent image. The Apache 200 will be powered by a 200cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that belts out 25 HP of power and 22 Nm of torque. The Indian version will get TVS tyres while the overseas model will benefit from Pirelli rubber.

TVS has also teased the Apache 200 in Indonesia and the teaser does state that the bike will be launched on 20th January. The street-fighter will get a 130/70/R17 tyre at the rear while the front tyre will be a 100 section unit. The motorbike comes with a chiselled fuel tank thus freeing up some space for your legs. The Apache also gets perforated split seats, a W-shaped grab rail, clear lens indicators and LED tail lights.

The TVS Apache 200 also gets aluminium foot pegs, engine cowl and chrome finished telescopic forks. The new flagship TVS also gets clip-on handlebars while a twin exhaust is also on offer. The bike will be competing directly with the KTM Duke 200 and the entry-level performance bike segment might just see an interesting battle getting fired up. The TVS Apache 200 will be priced at an approximate price point of Rs. 1 lakh (ex-showroom), it will rival the Pulsar AS 200 in the domestic market.
