TVS Star City Plus Special Edition motorcycle has been launched at Rs. 54,579/- (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new offering features a white and black body paint scheme with red highlights. The price is Rs. 1500/- more than the single tone Star City Plus models but at par with the other dual-tone offerings.
The TVS Star City Plus Special Edition gets a dual-tone colour seat, dual-tone finished rearview mirrors and shock absorbers finished in red colour. It features other standard features like an automatic headlight on (AHO), stainless steel exhaust muffler, premium 3D emblems and black alloy wheels.
There are no mechanical changes on the motorcycle as it continues to draw power from the same 109.7cc, single-cylinder engine churning 8.3 PS at 7000 RPM and 8.7 Nm of peak torque at 5000 RPM. The Star City Plus has a 4-speed constant mesh transmission and the engine is mounted on a single-cradle tubular frame. Suspension duties are done by a telescopic oil damped front suspension and 5-step adjustable hydraulic rear shock absorber.
