TVS launches a Limited Edition Kargil Edition StaR City+ to celebrate the contribution of the Indian Army and the soldier in every common man.
TVS Motor Company has launched the Kargil Edition of StaR City+ as a tribute to the spirit and attitude of a soldier in every Indian. The design of the bike is inspired by the mountain peaks, tumultuous terrains and the meticulous lives of the soldiers who guard the citizens all the time.
The camouflage graphics consist of a white and green dual tone colour scheme with a Kargil Emblem, which marks the uncrushable spirit of Indians. TVS also undertook an initiative ‘Kargil Calling – Ride for the Real Stars’ to celebrate the contribution of the Indian Defence Forces on Kargil Vijay Diwas in July 2018 across 3500 touch points of TVS Motor Company and designed a special Kargil themed TVS StaR City+ to lead the rally in 5 key markets.
The campaign saw an impressive response for the cause thus, leading the brand to launch a Kargil Edition themed limited-edition bike. Priced at Rs. 54,399/- (ex-showroom), the Kargil Edition of TVS StaR City+ is available across select dealerships. The bike is offered in three colours – Naval White, Soldier Green and Flying Blue.
No mechanical changes have been made to the bike and it continues to draw power from a 109.7cc engine that makes 8.4 HP and 8.7 Nm.
