TVS preparing to launch their next motorcycle by 2021.
TVS officials have recently revealed they are introducing their next bike by 2021. It will be based on the same platform co-developed with BMW having a 310cc engine.
The Chennai-based bike maker has recently trademarked the name TVS Ronin. The same nomenclature is expected to be introduced for their next motorcycle. However, the body type is still a big mystery.
There are a lot of speculations of late. TVS is expected to come up with a cruiser motorcycle and an adventure bike too. Moreover, it could simply be a naked version of the TVS Apache RR 310.
The name Ronin sounds very similar to the TVS Zeppelin cruiser concept showcased at the Auto Expo 2018. It was expected to hit the showrooms by early 2020. However, it might have been delayed due to the pandemic.
The Zeppelin concept had some fancy equipment and features on offer. It came with LED headlight, DRLs, petaled spoke alloy wheels, adjustable brake & clutch levers, keyless go, HD camera, etc.
However, the concept bike specs revealed a 220cc, single-cylinder engine with E-Boost tech. This might or might not be a 310cc product but TVSâ first cruiser bike is in the pipeline for sure.
There is a possibility of an adventure motorcycle too. For saving the costs, it can share most of the mechanicals with the BMW G 310 GS having the same engine and similar cycle parts.
If not a cruiser bike or an ADV, TVS Ronin might simply be a naked version of the RR 310 but it is highly unlikely to come with such a nomenclature.
