TVS Radeon Launched, Priced From Rs. 48,400/-

TVS is further expanding its 110cc commuter bike portfolio with the introduction of the Radeon.

The TVS Radeon is the new commuter bike from the company

TVS India has finally launched a new commuter segment bike which is called the Radeon. It is aimed at the price-conscious buyers and is priced at Rs. 48,400 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This will join the TVS Victor and StaR City+ in the company’s India portfolio.

The new TVS Radeon has a horizontal design language typical to a commuter bike. The headlight of the Radeon also houses a DRL. The petrol tank has ribbed thigh pads and chrome accents have been used around the speedometer, shock absorbers, silencer and around the headlight. TVS claims that the cushioned seat is the largest and the widest in the segment which is a good thing.

The TVS Radeon is powered by a 109.7cc, Dura-Life engine that has been designed for efficiency while also offering decent performance for city driving. The engine produces 8.28 HP at 7000 RPM and a peak torque of 8.7 Nm at 5000 RPM. It has a 10-litre fuel tank and claimed mileage is 69.3 km/l.

Feature wise, the TVS Radeon is equipped with the Synchronised Braking Technology which is also a first in the segment. It provides better braking capability while also minimising skidding of the tyres under hard braking. The 18-inch tyres on the Radeon are also tubeless. There is a side-stand indicator which comes with a beeper.

TVS has a good market share in the commuter bike segment and the new Radeon should help the company further increase it.
