Remember we told you recently that TVS has finally overtaken Bajaj in terms of domestic sales thanks to their new products doing extremely well in the market? Well now TVS has aggressive plans to keep that momentum on for a really long time. TVS is showing signs of extremely potent and brand new motorcycles and scooters coming into the market soon. These new bikes will go on sale much before TVS-BMW unveil their first performance motorcycles, which is due for launch by the end of next year.
TVS has said it clearly that from this upcoming quarter to the next fiscal year, a new product will be launched every three months. TVS is likely to begin with the Scooty Zest which is already 6-7 months late in terms of earlier announced launch date. The last but not the least, the next quarter will witness the launch of a new Apache. Yes, you heard that right. A quarter-litre or 200cc Apache is on its way from TVS which will compete with the likes of the Hero Karizma ZMR and Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS. The styling and engine will be inspired by the latest concept bike, the Draken.
TVS as we can see is finally showing all the aggression and potent ideas. Overtaking Bajaj are signs of a massive leap forward. If not overtaking by a huge margin, still it’s a huge feat for a company who considers itself as an underdog in terms of finance. Quality products and excellent after sales service has shown them the glory days. Not they need to penetrate more markets which includes some major urban cities while also keeping the performance enthusiast happy. There is no stopping this Hosur based manufacturer.
