TVS Debuts IntelliGO Stop-Start Tech On Jupiter
The scooter with the intelliGO system has been priced at Rs. 72,347/- (ex-showroom, Delhi).
TVS has introduced its new stop-start system named “intelliGO” on its Jupiter 110cc scooter. Available on the ZX disc variant, the scooter with the tech is priced at Rs. 72,347/- (ex-showroom, Delhi), just below the Classic trim.
According to TVS, the Jupiter is the first 110cc scooter to feature the stop-start technology, which it claims improves fuel economy while reducing emissions.
The system switches off the engine during long idling, while a simple twist of the throttle would bring the motor back to life, thereby avoiding fuel wastage and bringing emissions down.
Apart from featuring the TVS intelliGO technology, the Jupiter does not sport any changes be it mechanical or aesthetic. Thus, it continues to be powered by a 110cc engine generating a maximum of 7.4 HP at 7000 RPM and 8.4 Nm peak torque at 5500 RPM.
It also comes with an LED headlight, semi-digital instrument cluster, dual tone seat, 3-step adjustable rear suspension, 21-litre storage, 2-litre glove box and a mobile charger.
The TVS Jupiter ZX variant is available with 2 colour options and they are – Starlight Blue and Royal Wine.
