TVS CREON electric scooter concept has been unveiled at the 2018 Auto Expo, is a performance-oriented EV.
TVS Motor has unveiled the CREON performance electric scooter concept at the 2018 Auto Expo. The CREON is a testament that EVs can be both exciting as well as green at the same time. Equipped with three 72V battery (lithium-ion) and a liquid-cooled Induction Machine motor, the CREON makes use of a carbon belt drive. Max power is rated at 8 kW (10.7 HP of power) with a maximum range of around 80 kms.
Estimated charging time under normal charging is rated at 4 hours. The CREON propels from 0-60 km/hr in just 5.1 seconds while the top speed is rated at 115 km/hr. The scooter gets 3 riding modes – Track, Sport and City. The concept features an aluminium lightweight perimeter frame which gives the chassis stiffness aiding in better handling of the scooter while the diamond-cut alloy wheels with wide 100-section front and 110-section rear tyre gives better riding grip.
The front and rear wheels get 220 mm and 200 mm petal discs respectively. The concept gets features like a Smart Instrument Cluster with GPS and Navigation (TVS App enabled), Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Hill Hold function, Regenerative Braking and front and reverse park assist.
