2024 TVS Apache RTR 160 Racing Edition Gets The Most Powerful Air-Cooled 160cc Engine In India
In the recent months, TVS launched the Black Edition for the Apache 160 series and now a special Racing Edition has been introduced for the TVS Apache RTR 160. This update is specific to the 2V variant which has been on sale for over a decade.
The TVS Apache RTR 160 Racing Edition is priced at Rs. 1.28 lakhs making it the top-of-the-line variant in the line-up. This motorcycle is mechanically the same as the other dual disc variants and still comes equipped with a single-channel supermoto ABS.
The TVS Apache RTR 160 Racing Edition gets special red alloys with a matte black colour scheme and red accents on the body. Design wise the motorcycle has no major changes.
The TVS Apache RTR 160 2V is claimed to be India’s most powerful 160cc air-cooled motorcycle producing 16.04 PS at 8750 RPM and. This Apache is also equipped with three ride modes – Sport, Urban and Rain that adjust the ABS settings to suit different riding conditions. Additionally, the bikes feature a digital LCD cluster, LED headlamp and tail lamp, SmartXonnect with Voice Assist and Glide Through Traffic (GTT) technology.
The new Racing Edition has been launched to gather attention in the market and boost the sales of the Apache 160 series. However the design language and the Apache 2V motorcycle continues to be on sale for over a decade.
