Going by the first impression of the Apache RR 310S, TVS already has a winner with its upcoming flagship bike.
The TVS Apache RR 310S has been in the news for quite a long time now. Every other day we get to hear about this motorcycle. From getting glimpses of the clearest spy shots and hearing the exhaust note on the motorcycle, we now have an automobile enthusiast who has got an opportunity to go on a short spin on the TVS Apache RR 310S and here are his first impressions.
He, of course wishes not to be named. The Apache RR 310S has a solid build quality, in fact the best on a TVS motorcycle yet. The ride felt comfortable as there were no vibrations, thank you BMW. TVS has used premium cycle parts on the Apache RR 310S and there seems to be no cost cutting.
Being a sports bike, the riding stance too is comfortable and going on long rides won’t be a cumbersome experience. However, the pillion seat isn’t as comfortable because of its short size. The TVS Apache RR 310S sports Michelin Pilot Street Radials that offer good grip while the dual projector headlamps offered decent illumination in the dark. Probably not the best but there is a decent reach.
Powering the TVS Apache RR 310S is a 313cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that produces 33.6 HP and comes paired to a 6-speed gearbox. TVS hasn’t put any word on the Apache RR 310S’s launch yet, but we expect the company to launch it this July with a sticker price of Rs. 1.60 – 1.75 lakhs (ex-showroom).
